• Michigan improved to 50-12-2 all-time in Big Ten Conference openers. The Wolverines have won 33 of their last 35 conference openers.
• The Wolverines also improved to a 13-7 record in the all-time series against Penn State and are now 7-3 in meetings at Michigan Stadium. U-M's 39-point margin of victory in the largest, by either team, in the history of the series.
• Michigan has combined for 208 total points over its first four games of the 2016 season -- the most over that stretch in program history.
• The last time Michigan scored 40 or more points in each of its first four games was 1947 -- Michigan State (55-0), Stanford (49-13), Pittsburgh (69-0) and Northwestern (49-21).
