One Michigan player came to the Final Four for a trophy -- and a recliner

SAN ANTONIO -- At the heart of the Final Four are two 40-minute basketball games on Saturday. In the days leading up to those contests, it can be easy to forget that.

The sport's biggest stage, which has arrived in San Antonio, involves media and promotional circuits that are time-consuming and potentially overwhelming.

Thursday, Michigan arrived at the Alamodome for interviews with national radio and NCAA.com at 9 a.m. local time. From there, they went to individual interviews with Turner and CBS, the networks broadcasting the games. They were filmed in front of a green screen for promos that will be used before, during, and after the telecasts.
