One common theme at many Thanksgiving dinner tables - and now social media - is the airing of personal thanks.
For Michigan quarterback John O'Korn, he has spent this year without playing in football games, only playing in practice due to NCAA transfer rules.
Yet he apparently loved it, tweeting that he's thankful he lost his job in Houston midway through last year, allowing him to land in Ann Arbor.
Thankful for getting benched at Houston. Wouldn't be a wolverine if it hadn't happened and I wouldn't have it any other way.

O'Korn was a sensation as a true freshman at Houston in 2013, throwing for 3,117 yards, 28 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions.
