Offensive fireworks as Michigan falls at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The offensive fireworks were on full display at Mackey Arena Thursday night. In the end, Purdue lit up the scoreboard slightly more often than visiting Michigan, as the Wolverines lost to the Boilermakers for the second time this season, 92-88.

Michigan senior Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman scored a career-high 26 points, U-M shot 60 percent from the field and made 13 3-pointers, and yet it wasn't enough against the No. 3 team in the country.

A defense facing the Boilermakers probably wants to either take away Isaac Haas or limit Purdue's outside shooting. Michigan did neither.
