No mo' Moe for Michigan: What Wagner's departure means for next season

ANN ARBOR -- Point guard Zavier Simpson won Michigan's Most Improved award earlier this week at the team banquet. He was a fine choice, given how that his playing time increased three-fold from his freshman to his sophomore year, while his shooting, defense, and decision-making greatly improved.

But there was another second-year Wolverine whose statistical improvement was even more drastic.

Standing 7-foot-1, a spotlight would hit Jon Teske before most others.

With Moritz Wagner's announcement Saturday that he will declare for the NBA draft, thus forgoing his final season at Michigan, that light will shine even brighter next year.
