NBA draft rules leaves Michigan coach John Beilein planning for everything

There was no downtime for John Beilein when he returned to Ann Arbor after attending the Final Four.

Once the season ended, the Michigan basketball coach turned his focus to recruiting.

U-M is staring at what will be a pivotal offseason. Wednesday afternoon, Charles Matthews officially declared for the NBA draft. Ignas Brazdeikis and Jordan Poole, the team's two leading scorers, have entered the draft and will test the waters but have not announced whether they will remain in the draft or return to school.
