Saturday night's 16-13 loss at Arizona State threw a bit of a wrench into my AP Top 25 ballot this week. Before the Spartans' loss, USC was the only school I had moving more than five spots.
Then came MSU and ... let the debate rage on where to drop them.
Do I drop them 10 spots, from No. 10 to No. 20? No. 25? Leave them off entirely? I ultimately settled on eight spots, two fewer than what the actual AP poll results showed (a slide from 15 to 25).
