This is the time of the year where ranking the upper-echelon teams begins to get harder and harder.
Take this past Sunday, for example, and Michigan and Georgia. Neither team has faced one another this season -- forcing voters to decide on who to rank above whom through eight games.
Both teams are 7-1. Both teams have a pair of wins over ranked opponents and play in arguably the two best conferences in college football.
