Misfiring Michigan tripped up at home in loss to Ohio State

Ann Arbor — Two steps forward, one step back.

Just when Michigan was starting to gain some traction, it was handed another crushing home defeat.

The Wolverines let a pair of late leads slip away in the final minutes against Ohio State and saw their two-game win streak come to an end with a 61-58 loss Tuesday at Crisler Center.

Senior guard Zavier Simpson finished with 15 points and seven rebounds but was called for a critical flagrant I foul in the final minute for Michigan (13-9, 4-7 Big Ten).
