Michigan basketball coach John Beilein discusses the 61-52 loss at Northwestern.
ROSEMONT, Ill. — Northwestern coach Chris Collins talked to his team about trying to emulate what Michigan did last season.
The current Wolverines may need a similar pep talk, after a 61-52 loss to the Wildcats at Allstate Arena on Tuesday night. The Wolverines shot 25% (5 of 20) in the second half, including 1 of 10 from three-point range.
Collins said at this point in the season teams fall into two camps.
“You see a lot of teams that want to kind of crank it up and make a push, and then you see a lot of teams that are counting down the days for the season to end,” Collins said.
