Michigan's rout of Texas A&M should frighten NCAA tourney field

They looked like the team we saw in New York. Loose. Focused. Defending as if sharing neurons. And knocking down shots.

From everywhere.

This was a clinic Thursday at the Staples Center, and Michigan's John Beilein was wearing a white lab coat.

A week after playing its most ragged ball in months, the Wolverines jumped back on the fast-track and steamrolled Texas A&M on their way to the Elite Eight, 99-72, knocking down 14 3s and rinsing off whatever shooting rust they'd encountered after their 11-day layoff.
