There still is no official timetable for his return, but Rashan Gary continues to work to recover from a shoulder injury that has sidelined him for the better part of October, his coach says.
Jim Harbaugh, speaking this week on WXYT-FM (97.1 The Ticket), left the door open for a potential return this Saturday against Penn State (3:45 p.m., ESPN).
"He's working," Harbaugh told the "Jamie and Stoney" show. "Very hopeful. People say what they say, and sometimes it doesn't make any sense at all.
"But he's doing his very best to get out onto the field.
