ANN ARBOR - A video during a timeout at the Michigan-Maryland game on Thursday showed seniors Jillian Dunston and Katelynn Flaherty discussing their most memorable experiences in a Wolverines uniform.
After the ended the regular season with a 71-65 victory over the Terrapins on senior night at Crisler Arena, both said they hope their best memories have yet to come.
Thursday's win was the Wolverines' third over an RPI top-25 team this season. Although they had lost four of their previous five games to drop from No. 13 in the Associated Press poll to being on the NCAA tournament bubble, their chances significantly increased by knocking off the Terrapins (22-6, 11-4), who were looking to pull into a first-place tie in the Big Ten.
