PARIS, France -- Jim Harbaugh was all smiles and laughs Saturday morning when his Michigan football team hosted a clinic here.
He got to meet plenty of Parisians interested in the Americanized version of football, and fans of him and the Michigan program.
But there was also some good news to celebrate after the NCAA approved Patterson's waiver request, granting him full eligibility for 2018.
"Positive, yeah," Harbaugh said. "Very happy for him. I figured it would. I figured that was the right thing."
Why? Harbaugh wouldn't specifically say, but he alluded to the time it took for the NCAA to make a ruling.
