Michigan's final stretch will fascinate as team needs strong close

John Beilein said it'd be a journey.

He wasn't wrong.

Through 27 games, Michigan's showed signs of being able to compete with and beat the best teams in the country. It's also showed signs of inconsistency and the type of iffy habits shown by teams featuring a bevvy of first-year contributors.

And as the final four game stretch of the 2017-18 regular season arrives, John Beilein's see-saw squad has a decision to make.

Play up to your capability for 40 minutes consistently and have a happy March, or allow those pesky little things to fester and find yourself sweating a bit on Selection Sunday.
