ANN ARBOR -- Jim Harbaugh won't talk about D.J. Durkin's tenure at Michigan, but one of his assistants is.
And he had nothing but positive things to say about the Maryland football coach.
Safeties coach and special teams coordinator Chris Partridge on Monday called Durkin -- placed on administrative leave recently pending the results of an investigation into Jordan McNair's summer death -- an "intense guy" and a "good coach."
"He's a good ball coach," Partridge said. "He was always really good to me. When he had gone to Maryland, he offered me and asked me to go -- to come along with him.
