Michigan sophomore running back Chris Evans said he hasn’t lost confidence after fumbling against Air Force. He has switched from primarily holding the ball in his left hand to carrying it with his right.

The Wolverines have lost six fumbles this season and turned the ball over five times in their 14-10 loss to in-state rival Michigan State.

Evans will have a bit of homecoming on Saturday when the No.17-ranked Wolverines (4-1, 1-1) visit Indiana (3-2, 0-2) at noon at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.

Evans, from Indianapolis, said the Wolverines had a longer and more intense fumble drill than normal during practice on Tuesday.
