ANN ARBOR -- Chase Winovich's post-game comments to a TV reporter on the field after his team's win over Michigan State last weekend took on a life of their own.
The comment was not unique, nor unheard of, using the term "little brother" to describe the Spartans, 21-7 losers to Michigan on Oct. 20.
More than a week later, in his first media availability with reporters since the game, Winovich explained his remarks.
"That's an interesting thing, because on one hand I'm moving on from it -- but on the other hand ... in my eyes, I didn't start the fight.
