According to ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren, Michigan redshirt sophomore wide receiver Oliver Martin has entered the transfer portal.
Rumors have been swirling over the last week whether or not Martin would rejoin the team, as he had not reported to Ann Arbor. However, Josh Gattis posted a photo on Twitter that Martin was in. That put the rumors to rest, making this news even more surprising.
It is unknown at this time what exactly led Martin to enter the portal.
Martin came to Michigan as a former 4-star prospect from the state of Iowa. He joined fellow receivers Donovan Peoples-Jones, Tarik Black and Nico Collins in the 2017 class.
