Michigan WR Grant Perry will not play in any games until court case is resolved

ANN ARBOR -- Earlier this month, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh allowed suspended wide receiver Grant Perry to begin working out with the football team again.

However, Perry's return to the field for any actual football game will still be contingent on the resolution of his still open court case in Lansing.

Perry is facing two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, one felony count of resisting a police officer and one misdemeanor count of a minor in possession of alcohol from an incident on Oct. 15 in East Lansing.

He has maintained his innocence with regard to the sexual conduct charges and currently has a trial date scheduled for next month in Lansing.
