Michigan women's basketball postponed another game due to COVID-19 issues in program

Michigan women's basketball has had a second straight conference game postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the program.

The Wolverines announced on Monday that the home game against Penn State, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, was called off.

"The decision was made by the Michigan Athletic Department in consultation with medical professionals," the program said in a statement. "Both institutions will work with the Big Ten Conference to identify potential rescheduling options later this season."

Michigan's game against Illinois, scheduled for last Saturday, was also postponed. U-M's last opponent, Butler, announced that they would "pause team activities in accordance with COVID-19 protocols" on Dec.
