One day after Michigan football suffered a lopsided defeat at the hands of the USC Trojans, 31-13, the Wolverines were voted out of the AP and Coaches Polls.
Michigan football was ranked 15th in each poll coming into the week. Yet, after a thorough loss at the hands of USC, the Wolverines are outside the AP and Coaches Poll for the first time this season. It's justified but still wildly disappointing.
Nebraska jumped into the AP Top 25. Washington, the opponent for this week, is just outside the AP Top 25 just like Michigan football.
