The Minnesota Vikings have gone all in on former Michigan football quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and according to what we have seen so far in Vikings training camp, it looks like a good idea.
The Vikings just opened training camp this week, but McCarthy has already been turning heads. He opened camp with a touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson. He followed it up with another impressive throw on Wednesday.
McCarthy was drafted 10th overall by the Vikings in the 2024 NFL draft, however, he suffered a season-ending injury after just one preseason game.
But after passing on the chance to re-sign Sam Darnold, or land Aaron Rodgers, the Vikings have put their faith in McCarthy.
