All week, Michigan football fans were begging for the Wolverines to open up the offense and allow Bryce Underwood to be Bryce Underwood.
Well, the coaching staff appears to have heard the call. Or maybe it was just obvious that it was the right thing to do, but in the first half against Central Michigan, the Wolverines offense looked entirely different.

Underwood was involved in run plays and not just scrambles. There were designed runs, including one that turned into a 20-yard touchdown run thanks to a stellar lead block from Max Bredeson.
