Michigan Thursday: Portal Problems Become Portal Profits

Both Michigan's Football and Basketball programs were looking to fill holes in their roster for different reasons.

The Football team wants to compete for championships and needed another cornerback that has some game experience. They landed a 4-year CB from its former DC Don Brown who is now the head coach at UMass. Josh Wallace comes to Michigan as one of the best remaining CB's in the portal and a guy we know likes to play man coverage. Of course, Jesse Minter will have to introduce him to what a zone is! :)

I don't expect Josh to be a star, but I do expect him to be an upgrade at the position and walk into a starting role opposite or in place of Will Johnson who is recovering from knee surgery.
