ANN ARBOR -- Michigan senior Tera Blanco had a game to remember Tuesday against Eastern Michigan.
The right-hander threw her first collegiate no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking two in seven innings. She also homered in the fifth inning of the Wolverines' 4-0 win.
Blanco's no-hitter is Michigan softball's fifth this season, a program record.
The Huntington Beach, California native improved to 7-2 this season for the Wolverines (32-7), whose 1.10 team ERA is fifth in the NCAA. Blanco also is batting .352 and leads the team with nine home runs and 34 RBIs.
