The Battle 4 Atlantis tournament opener was no walk on the beach for Michigan.
The Wolverines were staring at an early nine-point deficit and watched as the turnovers and personal fouls were piling up at an alarming rate.
Yet, Michigan was able to overcome the hurdles and hold off Iowa State to pull out an 83-76 win over Iowa State on Wednesday at Imperial Arena in the Bahamas.
