Michigan recruiting roundup: U-M offers No. 1 2019 player Kayvon Thibodeaux, who calls Jim Harbaugh 'a legend'

ANN ARBOR – More than four months remain until National Signing Day for 2017 players.

The 2019 class is a long way away, but programs around the country are already showing interest in Kayvon Thibodeaux, a five-star sophomore defensive end from Dorsey High School in Los Angeles. That group now includes Michigan, which extended a scholarship offer this week.

"I found out through my coach at the end of practice," Thibodeaux told Scout.com. "I honestly was shocked because I haven't heard any news about Michigan looking at me before and I have a lot of respect for Coach (Jim) Harbaugh.
