Michigan went to Kansas to sign a little-known recruit named Ronnie Bell last winter.
And now the Wolverines have done the same with their 2019 class.
Leawood (Kansas) Blue Valley North athlete Amauri Pesek-Hickson committed to Michigan on Saturday while in Ann Arbor for a visit. He announced the news on his Twitter account.
Pesek-Hickson is ranked by 247Sports Composite as a 3-star prospect, the No. 824 recruit in the nation and the sixth-best prospect from Kansas.
He was offered by Michigan on Oct. 30.
"He's this cycle's Ronnie Bell, at least at this point," said 247Sports analyst Steve Lorenz.
