ANN ARBOR -- Ty Isaac has been through this gauntlet plenty by now.
The wear and tear of summer of conditioning. The grind of preseason camp.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound running back has had his share of bright spots during his two-year tenure seeing the field at Michigan. He's flashed moments that back up his five-star ranking out of high school.
And then there's been just the opposite. Not following up a big game. Jumping in and out of the Michigan depth chart.
"I just feel like I've been more consistent," Isaac told reporters on Tuesday.
