Anytime there is an offensive explosion in a baseball game, it seems like water violently finds its level the next day. The Michigan Wolverines dealt with that in the first eight innings of the second game of the weekend against Minnesota after scoring 21 runs on Friday.
The bats warmed up once again in the ninth, as the Wolverines (17-7) scored four runs to grab a 4-0 victory over the Gophers (4-19) on Saturday afternoon.
First baseman Ted Burton hit a two-run home run to left field in the top of the ninth to give Michigan its first lead of the day.
