Michigan QB Brandon Peters '50% better,' team hopeful for Saturday

Free Press sports writers Nick Baumgardner and George Sipple discuss the Michigan football team on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, in Ann Arbor.

Michigan starting quarterback Brandon Peters is still in concussion protocol, but his overall health is improving.

During his radio show Monday night in Ann Arbor, coach Jim Harbaugh said the update on Peters' concussion symptoms was positive earlier in the day. And the team's medical staff will see how things go moving forward.

U-M is hopeful Peters can take the field Saturday when the Wolverines host Ohio State (noon, Fox).
