It was bound to happen. News of the Missouri Tigers being interested in poaching Michigan Wolverines offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey quickly manifested into him being the guy Eliah Drinkwitz wants to partner up with in CoMo. Missouri had to replace its former offensive coordinator Kirby Moore, who is on his way back to Washington State to take over for Jimmy Rogers this winter.
So with Lindsey off to Missouri, that largely tells us one of two things for the Wolverines moving forward. One, it does not appear that Drinkwitz will be a serious candidate to take over for Sherrone Moore in the long-term at Michigan.
