When the sounds of "Hail to the Victors!" float through Ohio Stadium on Saturday as the Michigan Wolverines take on the Ohio State Buckeyes, there will also be a note of sadness in the air.
Michigan Athletics announced via Twitter that Maggie St. Clair, the director of operations for the University of Michigan marching band, died Saturday morning.
St. Clair suffered a medical emergency shortly before departing for the game, according to the university.
"Her husband Jerry, son Craig & family are in our hearts today," the university said in its tweet.
