The Michigan Wolverines are used to beating James Franklin, so flipping one of his recruits in the 2026 class will feel like old hat.
To be fair, it's not really one of Franklin's recruits. The former Penn State head coach was just hired at Virginia Tech, so it would be hard to expect him to hang onto all of the recruits in the class.
So far, Franklin has actually done a solid job. He's connected with many of Virginia Tech's commitments and got them on campus or scheduled for visits. One recruit has been missing, though; that's because he's trending to Michigan football.
