Michigan Hockey Preview: The short-handed Wolverines hit the road to face St. Cloud State

The No. 14 Michigan Wolverines will play their fourth-straight ranked opponent this weekend when they travel to St. Cloud State to face the No. 17 Huskies. This will be the first regular season meeting all-time between the two programs and features two teams seemingly heading in different directions.

St. Cloud State — winners of six straight — are led up front by a pair of double-digit scorers in Veeti Miettinen (9G, 4A) with 13 points and Adam Ingram (3G, 8A) with 11 points. While far from explosive, the Huskies’ offense is opportunistic which complements the team’s strength and defensive identity.
