Michigan hockey headed to NCAA tournament with matchup vs. Minnesota Duluth

Michigan hockey received a 2-seed in the Midwest region in the NCAA men's hockey tournament and will face No. 3 seed Minnesota Duluth in the first round in Fargo, North Dakota, on Friday.

The winner of that game will advance to Saturday's regional final against take on the winner of the matchup between No. 1-seed (and host) North Dakota and No. 4 seed American International.

The appearance is Michigan's 38th in the NCAA tournament and first since 2018.
