George left Ann Arbor last year after Chris Partridge was rehired. The official word at the time, was a mutually parting of ways, so George could Michigan to pursue other opportunities (he got let go). George did not work last season and was immediately hired by Saban yesterday. To be fair to the Crimson Tide, he has worked for Jeremy Pruitt in the past and was a coaching intern at Albama in 2012.
