Michigan football fans have mixed feelings about the Wolverines' 24-22 win over Northwestern on Saturday.
The Wolverines should have dominated the game, based on total yardage. Michigan had 496 yards compared to 245 for Northwestern. It was basically 2-1. The Wildcats converted two third downs compared to 12 for the Wolverines.
Despite three turnovers, Underwood accounted for over 300 total yards. Michigan football only 61 rushing yards. The Wolverines also might be the first team to ever win a game with a minus five turnover ratio.
Michigan football fans are debating what it could mean for the College Football Playoff picture, but if the Wolverines win the Big Ten championship, they will be in no matter what.
