Michigan football's June recruiting strategy pays off

In the past, Michigan football's marquee recruiting event of the summer has been the annual BBQ in the Big House.

Not anymore.

The Wolverines still host the event. But as of the past year, the BBQ has been upstaged by the second-to-last weekend of June. That brief window has resulted in a string of significant recruiting victories for Michigan and helped the Wolverines build the foundation of the 2019 and 2020 classes.
