Michigan football's Josh Metellus plans to bring versatility to Minnesota Vikings

Adaptation is the name of Josh Metellus’ game.

The former Michigan football defender played almost everywhere in college – lining up near the ball at outside linebacker, in the slot as a nickelback, out wide at corner and at safety, his main perch.

So, Metellus wasn’t fazed by changes to the pre-draft routine brought on by COVID-19, which included the substitution of in-person visits with videoconference meetings.

“I feel like I did a real good job of expressing myself through Zoom calls,” he said, “especially talking football.
