Jim and Sarah Harbaugh donated $100,000 to United Way for Southeastern Michigan's COVID-19 Community Response Fund, the nonprofit organization announced Monday afternoon.
The fund, launched in mid-March, is "supporting charities and organizations providing much-needed relief from the effects of coronavirus and its impact on families across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties."
Michigan has been one of the states hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic, with the aforementioned counties suffering greatest.
