Michigan football's Jim Harbaugh has embraced change before. He must now to do it again

Jim Harbaugh has never shied away from change with Michigan football.

In the offseason after his first season as head coach, Harbaugh had to replace a defensive coordinator who had developed the defense into a top-10 unit. As the story goes, Harbaugh pored through the past season's statistics and saw Boston College ranked No. 1 in total defense and yards per play and No. 4 in scoring defense.

Shortly after, he hired Don Brown.
