Michigan football signed several assistant coaches to new employment contracts this offseason, including highly incentivized new deals for defensive coordinator Don Brown and offensive line coach Ed Warinner.

The contracts were obtained by USA TODAY and the Free Press via Freedom of Information Act requests.

Brown and Warinner were two of six returning Michigan assistants to receive new deals this year. With full base salary and retention bonus money, U-M's 2019-20 staff pool will be at least $6.
