Michigan Football won’t hold spring practices, impacting QB battle

It didn’t take long on Thursday to realize that just about every major sporting event in the United State was going to be cancelled or postponed soon enough. But it wasn’t entirely clear what that meant in terms of spring ball for Michigan football or any other program.

Well on Friday, at least in Big Ten country, we got some clarity as the conference suspended all athletic activities until April 6 in a statement that was released. That means there will be no spring football for the Wolverines, although LSU is still planning on having spring football, at least for now.
