Having great offensive lineman has always been a point of pride for the Michigan football program and over the years, many of its best players have played positions such as offensive tackle.
Whether it’s Dan Dierdorf, guys like Jumbo Elliot, Taylor Lewan, Jake Long, Jon Jansen or some of the other elite names that have played in the trenches for Michigan football, there is a long history of success.
And in the fifth year of head coach Jim Harbaugh, the offensive line is becoming a strength again with all five starters last year earning some kind of All-Big Ten accolades.
