Former Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno is scheduled to receive $250,000 from the university upon his formal resignation on Feb. 23.

A letter addressed to Drevno from Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, obtained by the Free Press via a Freedom of Information Act request, outlined the football program’s separation from the former assistant.

It went in the books as a resignation, though the terms of the settlement – which required Drevno’s signature – are a bit different than what his original memorandum of understanding outline.
