In 2018, Karan Higdon and Chris Evans combined for more than 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns for Michigan football. That is a big, perhaps huge loss or hopefully temporary setback. Higdon is NFL bound and after Tuesday, Evans status is unclear at this moment.
Now, Michigan football will be getting much younger at an important position. Tru Wilson, redshirt freshman Christian Turner, and a four-star prospect, Zach Charbonnet are all expected to fight for the starting job. Unless Jim Harbaugh can land a graduate transfer.
