With less than three weeks before the kickoff of Michigan's 2018 football season, the U-M coaching staff has built what so far appears to be a solid 2019 recruiting class heading into official visit season. Michigan is ranked 11th in the country with 19 verbal commitments, headlined by 5-star defensive lineman Chris Hinton and 4-star defensive tackle Mazi Smith among others.
Beginning on Sept. 1, senior prospects can take their fall official visits and the final stretch of the recruiting cycle begins. For the Wolverines, they remain in striking distance with a wide variety of elite prospects from across the country.
