Iowa is – in recent years- the tight end machine for the Big Ten. Jake Butt was great for Michigan football – like top ten great – but Iowa had two tight ends go in the first round this year (T.J. Hockenson 8th overall, Noah Fant 20th overall).
That’s not mentioning 49ers breakout star, George Kittle, who had more than 1,300 receiving yards last season. While Iowa can arguably claim to be TE U in recent history, when you look at the collegiate GOAT’s, there really isn’t anyone school who has a leg up over any other.
